Original Seat Belt Harness Grommets for Bimarco Bucket Seats

Genuine Bimarco harness grommets are factory replacement parts specifically designed for the shell contours and upholstery thickness of our seats. They prevent seat upholstery wear and tear, stop seatbelt webbing from binding during adjustments, and give the seat a clean, professional finish.

Mounting Methods by Seat Model

Bimarco harness grommets are available in two attachment configurations:

• Screw-Fastened Grommets: used on Matrix, Racer, Phantom, Dynamic, Hamer, and Hamer Pro models (both upper and lower slots). Both halves feature integrated mounting recesses and are securely bolted together through the seat shell with screws.
• Glued / Adhesive-Mounted Grommets: used on Cobra Pro, Cobra 3 (2023+), Cobra 2, Expert, and Futura models. They feature smooth bezels without screw holes and are bonded together using mounting adhesive.

Shapes & Fitment

• Matrix, Racer, Phantom, Dynamic, Hamer, Cobra Pro, Cobra 3, Expert, Futura: feature grommets factory-contoured to match the shell recesses, shoulder line, and hip sections of each respective model.
• Cobra 2: features classic oval grommets (upper and lower).
• Center Sub-Strap Floor Slot (5th & 6th Point): on all Bimarco seats configured for 5- or 6-point harnesses, the central slot in the bottom of the seat shell (under the cushion between the driver's legs) is oval-shaped. To order a grommet for this slot, select the oval grommet from the Cobra 2 model.

Replacement for Discontinued Futura Lower Grommets

Important Service Advice: original lower harness grommets for the Bimarco Futura seat are discontinued and no longer manufactured. However, they can be replaced with oval grommets (from the Cobra 2 model), which have very similar outer dimensions. Fitting note: depending on the individual Futura fiberglass shell, slight filing of the cutout corners in the composite shell may be required for a proper fit.

Ordering Guide & Seat Setup

• Unit Price: applies to 1 complete grommet (both interlocking halves for one harness slot).
• Minimum Order Quantity: set to 2 pieces (one pair – e.g. two upper shoulder slots or two lower lap slots).
• Number of Grommets per Seat:
  • For 4-point harnesses: 4 grommets (2 upper shoulder slots + 2 lower lap slots).
  • For 5-point or 6-point harnesses: 5 grommets (2 upper + 2 lower + 1 oval sub-strap grommet in the seat base under the cushion).

Harness Webbing Compatibility

• Fully compatible with 2-inch (50 mm) and 3-inch (75 mm) motorsport harness belts.
• Suitable for 4-, 5-, and 6-point harnesses (FIA homologated including FIA 8853-2016, ECE approved, or trackday/sim racing belts).
• In 6-point systems, both crotch straps (dual sub-straps) pass smoothly through the central oval floor slot to vehicle anchor points.
• Smooth, rounded inner edges prevent harness fraying and binding.
